Hunger Cure

Hunger Cure is tucked away in the Sector 15 Main Market at DSS-44. If you know Faridabad, you know this market gets really packed, especially in the evenings when the students and young people are out. We opened this place because we saw how many people were looking for a quick bite that didn't cost a fortune. The space isn't very large, so it can get a bit loud and sweaty when the stove is going and the shop is full. We just focus on getting the food out fast. I’m usually behind the counter or checking the stock in the back. It’s a lot of manual work, chopping vegetables and making sure the sauces are ready. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything. We just want people to leave with a full stomach. The market has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit, and business slows down, but otherwise, it’s a constant stream of orders. We have a few small tables, but most people just stand and eat or take it to their cars. It’s a basic setup. We use simple ingredients and try to keep the prices where ordinary people can afford them. It’s a lot of long hours, but seeing the same people come back three times a week makes it feel like we’re doing something right. It's a simple business and we like it that way.
