It is a well-established part of the city, and we have been here for a good amount of time. The building itself is quite large, as it has to be for a hotel, but it still feels like a part of the local neighborhood. We don’t have those massive, impersonal lobbies you might find in the city center. Instead, we have a more welcoming, local feel. People come to stay with us for all sorts of reasons. Some are passing through for work, while others are here for local family events. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are ready and that everything is working as it should. It is a lot of work to keep a place like this going. There is always a leak to fix or a room that needs a fresh coat of paint. We don't have a big marketing department writing fancy brochures for us. We just rely on people having a decent stay and telling their friends about it. The staff here are mostly locals who have been with us for years. We know the best spots in Sector 16 and are always happy to point guests in the right direction. It is a busy life, especially during the holidays, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
