Being near the tracks means we hear the trains whistling and rumbling by all day long. It’s a sound we have grown to like because it reminds us that things are always moving. Our workshop is a functional space where we handle all kinds of engineering tasks. It’s not the most organized place in the world; there are usually parts and pieces of machinery sitting on the benches, but we know exactly where everything is. We don't wear suits or sit in fancy chairs. Most days we are in our work clothes, covered in a bit of oil or dust from whatever job we are finishing up. Ashoka Enclave is a decent area with a lot of regular families, so we try to be good neighbors and keep the noise down when it gets late. We’ve been at this for a while, and we’ve learned that just doing a solid day’s work is the best way to keep going. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just fix what is broken and build what is needed. If someone comes in with a problem, we take a look and see what we can do. It’s a straightforward way of living, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep our tools ready and the doors open.
