Gurmukh Building Material Supplier

The plot is Fca-3445 over on Bandh Road. It is a bit of a rough area in Sgm Nagar, but it is where we have been for quite a few years now. Gurmukh Building Material Supplier is basically just a big yard and a small room where we keep the desk and the ledger. We have piles of sand, gravel, and bricks all over the place. It is dusty work and my shoes are always ruined by the end of the week. The trucks come in and out from Bandh Road, and sometimes it gets pretty crowded when two of them try to pass each other in the entrance. We do not have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just sell what people need to build their walls or fix their roofs. My brother and I run the place, and we usually have a small radio playing in the background to keep us company during the day. The phone rings a lot, mostly people asking if we have enough sand for a project they are starting. Sgm Nagar is a busy neighborhood with a lot of construction going on, so we stay pretty occupied most of the time. Some days are long, especially when we have to unload a whole truck by hand because the extra labor did not show up. It is honest work, though. We are not trying to impress anyone with a polished look. The walls of the office are peeling, but that's just the business.
