Goyal Steel Co. is located on the 100 Feet Road in Shyam Colony, which is part of Sector 4 in Ballabhgarh. Being on such a wide road means there are always big trucks passing by and plenty of noise from the traffic. We deal with steel, so the yard is full of heavy metal rods and sheets that make a lot of noise when they are moved. It is a gritty place to work, and your hands stay dirty most of the day. Ballabhgarh is a busy industrial hub, and we fit right into that atmosphere. We have a small office where we handle the paperwork, but most of the action happens outside on the shop floor. The sun beats down on the metal in the summer, making it hot to the touch. We have a routine of checking the stock and helping customers who pull their vehicles in from the main road. It isn’t a place for suits and ties; we wear work clothes that can stand up to the grease and the metal shavings. We’ve been in Shyam Colony for a while now and we know many of the other business owners nearby. It’s a practical way to spend the day, and we don’t try to make it sound more complicated than it is. We just sell steel and try to keep everything moving along smoothly. Most afternoons are spent loading up the big trailers and making sure everything is secured properly for the road.
