Gowell Rubber Industries

If you head down to Mayur Vihar Phase III and look for G D Colony, you will find us at B/49. That is where Gowell Rubber Industries is based. It is mostly a manufacturing setup where we deal with rubber products of various kinds. The smell of raw rubber is something you get used to after working here for a week, but visitors always notice it immediately. We have a few heavy machines that take up most of the floor space. They are old but they still do the job if you treat them right and keep them oiled. The work is dirty and we often end the day with black marks on our hands and clothes. It’s just the nature of the industry. We have a small area in the front where we keep the books and take calls, but the real work happens in the back. There’s a small staff here, just a few of us who have known each other for a long time. We work through the heat and the rain, making sure the orders are ready when they need to be. Sometimes the power goes out in the colony and we have to wait around, which is a bit frustrating, but we make up for it later in the shift. We don't have a website or any of that. People just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the sign at B/49. We just keep making things.
