We’ve been at Villa 10 in Eros Garden for a while now. It’s a quiet spot in Charmwood, way out in Surajkund, Faridabad. Most mornings start with the sound of birds, which is nice compared to the middle of Delhi. Our office isn’t anything fancy, just a regular space where we get things done. We mostly handle the paperwork and meetings here under the name Essar. Some days the traffic coming from the city is just terrible, so we might start a bit late. It gets really hot in the summer, but the trees around the block help a bit. People usually just drop by if they’re in the neighborhood, though we’re mostly busy with the day-to-day stuff. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep things low-key and quiet. Sometimes the internet goes out when it rains, and we just have to wait it out. It’s a practical setup for us. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make tea, and that’s where most of the actual talking happens. It’s just us, working through the piles of files and keeping everything moving along. We like it here because it’s far enough from the chaos of the main city roads but still close enough that we can get into town when we need to. It’s just a normal place where real work happens every single day without any big fuss or corporate polish.
