Continental Furnaces

Plot No. 34 in the New DLF Industrial Area is where you'll find us. It’s an industrial zone, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks moving around. We deal with furnaces, which is hot, heavy work. The plot itself is pretty basic. We have a space for the assembly and some room for the materials. It gets dusty, especially when the wind picks up across the open lots. Working with furnaces means you have to be practical. We spend our days looking at drawings or checking the metal components. It’s not a clean office job. Most of us have grease on our hands by noon. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, and we know most of the guys in the neighboring plots. We share a tea sometimes near the gate. The area has grown, but the grit of the work stays the same. We don’t spend money on big signs or bright lights. Most people who need us already know the address. We just focus on getting the structures built right so they don't fail when the heat goes on. It’s about the bricks, the steel, and making sure everything fits together. There’s a certain routine to the shop floor that we all follow. It’s loud, it’s a bit messy, but it’s how things get done here. We keep our tools ready and the welding masks nearby because there is always something that needs fixing or putting together.
