You’ll find Compage Automation Systems Pvt. Ltd. over in the New DLF Industrial Area at plots 20 and 21. We’ve been here since the area was a lot quieter than it is now. Our work is all about automation systems, so the workshop is usually full of control panels, wires, and bits of machinery that we’re putting together. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you’ll just find one of the engineers walking around with a multimeter or a laptop. The floors are concrete and the lighting is just standard industrial stuff, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time debugging code and testing circuits to make sure everything clicks into place like it should. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on the main road, which can be frustrating, but we just adjust our schedule. We’re a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the phone to wiring up a panel. It’s a lot of technical work, and it gets pretty engrossing once we get started on a project. We don't really have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a lot of blueprints and circuit diagrams pinned up everywhere. It’s an honest living, and we’ve built some good relationships with the other businesses around here over the years. We just keep doing our thing.
