Our office for Brack Capital Real Estate is situated at 2, Hauz Khas Village. If you have ever been to the village, you know how narrow the streets are and how many people are always walking around. We are right in the middle of all that energy. The building itself is quite old, which is common for this part of Hauz Khas. Inside, it is a bit cramped with all our desks and maps of the city, but we like the atmosphere. Every morning starts with opening the big front door and watching the shopkeepers nearby set up their displays. We deal with houses and commercial spaces in this neighborhood and the surrounding areas. It can get quite loud in the afternoons with music from the nearby cafes and tourists talking outside. We spend a lot of time walking to different properties because driving through the village is almost impossible most days. We know most of the landlords around here by their first names. It is not a polished corporate office with glass walls; it is more of a practical space where we get work done. We handle the rentals and the sales, trying to make sense of the local market which changes every month. It is a busy life here in the village, and there is never a dull moment. We just keep working through the daily chaos and helping people find their spot in Delhi.
