Blue Onion

We've been here on Neelam Bata Road for a good while now. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic from NIT, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of the kitchen and people talking. I usually start the day early, checking if everything is ready before the first few people walk through the door at 46-BP. It’s not a fancy place, but it works for us and the folks who live around here. Sometimes the weather gets really dusty, and we spend half the time wiping down the counters, but that’s just life in Faridabad. We see the same faces mostly, people stopping by on their way home or during their lunch break. I don't really know what else to say about us. We just make the food and hope people like it enough to come back next week. The street is always changing, new shops opening and closing, but Blue Onion stays right where it is. It’s a bit cramped when it gets busy, especially on the weekends, but we manage. My brother helps out with the supplies, and we just keep things moving. There isn't some big story behind it, just a lot of hard work and making sure the stove stays hot. It’s a simple living. If you’re walking past the Bata shop, you’ll see our sign. It's nothing special to look at, just a place to eat and take a rest for a bit before heading back out into the noise.
