Most people know us because we’re quite close to Bikaner Sweets, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find the place for the first time. Balaji Computer Repair And Shop is exactly what it sounds like. We spend most of our time fixing laptops and desktops that have seen better days. The shop isn't huge, so we have to stack things up to make room for everyone to work. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, especially when we have a lot of big towers in for repair. We don't bother with fancy displays or anything like that because we’re usually too busy with a screwdriver in hand. The community center is a good spot to be in; there’s always people walking past and popping in to ask about a slow computer or a virus. We’ve seen all kinds of tech issues over the years, some easy and some that take a few days of head-scratching. We just tell people the truth about their machines and what it’ll take to get them running again. It’s a plain, hardworking shop where we drink too much chai and try to keep up with the constant stream of broken screens. We like the neighborhood and the people who live here in Sector 17.
