Our place is located right in Jawahar Colony, near the Durga Mandir on Air Force Road. If you know the area, you know it's usually pretty lively with people and traffic. We occupy units 1882 and 1883. We’ve been working on cars and different parts here for a long time now. It’s definitely not a shiny showroom like the ones in the city center. It’s a real workshop with grease on the floor and tools scattered around. That is how it should be, really. We spend most of our time under hoods or fixing components that have stopped working. The locals around here know us by name, which is nice. Being near the temple is helpful because it's a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Sometimes the traffic on Air Force Road gets backed up, but we’re used to the noise. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know what we’re doing with an engine. We don't use fancy computers for every little thing; a lot of it is just experience and knowing how things are supposed to sound when they're running right. We get all kinds of vehicles coming through. Some are just for quick fixes, while others stay for a few days. We try to be honest about how long things will take. It's hard work, but we enjoy it. We just keep the doors open and work.
