Asm Castings

Asm Castings is tucked away in the Krishna Nagar Industrial Area at plot 195. Working in a foundry means you’re always around sand, metal, and fire. It’s a gritty environment, but there’s something satisfying about pouring molten metal into a mold and seeing it take shape once it cools down. We do a lot of sand casting here, which is an old method but it works for the parts we make. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of the furnace. We aren’t a massive plant with hundreds of workers. We’re a smaller team, and everyone knows their job, whether it’s prepping the molds or cleaning up the finished castings. Most of our day is spent moving heavy stuff around and making sure the metal is at the right temperature before we pour. If the mix isn't right, the whole batch is ruined, so we have to pay attention even when it’s loud and hot. We’ve got some old machines that have been running for years, and they need a bit of extra care to keep them going. The office is just a small room in the corner where we handle the orders and talk to suppliers. It’s mostly just us doing the work day in and day out. If you come by, you’ll probably see us covered in dust, which is just part of being at the shop.
