Arora Masala Company

We’re located at 5A-50, which is right near Kc Road in the Nit area. It’s a decent spot for a business like ours. We’ve been calling ourselves Arora Masala Company for a while now. We handle all sorts of masalas. It’s a busy little place, especially in the mornings when we start the work for the day. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a few rooms where we keep the raw spices and the grinders. It gets a bit loud when the machines are running, so we usually talk a bit louder to hear each other. We don't have a lot of polished signs or expensive decorations. We’d rather spend that money on getting better ginger or cloves. Some people find us because they live nearby, and others just happen to walk past on Kc Road and smell what we're making. We don't really have a big plan for global expansion or anything. We just like making sure the local shops have enough masala for their customers. Sometimes we make mistakes, like a label going on crooked, but we fix it and move on. It’s just a regular local business. We keep our logs in big binders and drink a lot of tea while we work. If you come by 5A-50, you’ll probably find one of us sitting at the front desk or helping move a sack of peppercorns in the back.
