Spice

Our shop, Spice, is located over at Nehru Ground in Faridabad N I T. We occupy units 363 and 365. Having two units gives us a bit more room to breathe than some of the other spots around here. Nehru Ground is always buzzing with people looking for electronics or getting things repaired. We focus on mobile phones and the various gadgets that go with them. Most of our day is spent behind the glass counter talking to customers. Some want the latest phone and others just need their old one to start working again. It can get pretty loud with all the traffic outside. We have a small back room where we keep the extra stock and where we take our lunch. The flooring is a bit worn out from all the people walking in and out every day. We do not do any big advertising; people just find us because we have been at 363 and 365 for a long time. In the winter, it gets quite cold since the front is always open. We just wear our jackets and keep working. Sometimes the lights flicker when the load is high in the market. We just wait for it to stabilize. It is a typical day in a busy market like Nehru Ground. We just try to keep things moving and help whoever walks through the door. The inventory is always changing, so there is usually something new on the shelves.
