Ambika Metal Udyog

Ambika Metal Udyog is right in the middle of Sanjay Colony, specifically at Sector 23 near Lakhani Chowk. If you know the area, you know how crowded it can get with people and rickshaws everywhere. Our shop is at number 14. We have been working with metal for a long time here. The space is filled with the sound of hammers and the grinding of metal parts. It is a noisy life, but you get used to it after the first few weeks. We do not have any big corporate signs or fancy lighting. It is just a functional space where we get our hands dirty every single day. Most of our tools have been with us for years and they have the wear and tear to show for it. We handle a lot of small metal components and sometimes the floor is just covered in scraps. We try to sweep up at the end of the day, but it is a losing battle usually. The guys who work here are mostly locals from around the colony. We know the neighbors and the shopkeepers nearby. When the sun hits the metal in the afternoon, the whole place glows in a weird way. We do not spend much time on talk; we just get to the orders and make sure they are ready when they need to be. It is just a basic metal shop in a busy part of town doing what we can.
