Ajit Rubber Industries

We are located in Ballabhgarh, specifically in Ajit Nagar on the Uncha Gaon Road. We are right opposite the Punjabi Dharamshala, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. Working with rubber means the smell is the first thing you notice when you walk into the building. It is a strong, heavy scent that never really goes away from your skin. We have these big machines that press the rubber into different shapes and they make a lot of noise all day long. The floor is always a bit dark from the materials and oils we use. It gets very warm near the presses, so we keep the big front doors open to let some air in from the road. We have been in Ajit Nagar for a long time. It is not a clean or quiet job by any means. Your clothes get stained and your hands stay black from the carbon even after scrubbing. We usually have a few piles of scrap rubber in the corner waiting to be moved. It is a practical business. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you want to talk to us, you just walk into the main area where the work is happening. Sometimes we have to shout to be heard over the constant hum of the motors. It is just honest work that we do every day here in Ballabhgarh.
