A Telecaller

A Telecaller is located at 2D/119 in the N.I.T area of Faridabad. As you can probably guess from the name, this place is all about the phones. It’s a small office and it gets incredibly noisy when everyone is on a call at the same time. We have rows of desks with headsets and computers, and there is always someone talking in the background. N.I.T is a busy part of the city, so there’s a lot of energy around the office. We don't have much room for extras, so every bit of space is used for something important. The air conditioning is always running because all the computers make the room get pretty warm. We take turns going out for breaks because we can't all leave the phones at once. It’s not the kind of job where you sit around doing nothing. You have to be ready to talk to all kinds of people, some of whom are nice and some who aren't. We just try to stay polite and get through our lists for the day. There is a small shop nearby where we get snacks in the afternoon to keep our energy up. The walls are thin, so we can hear everything happening in the street outside, from the honking cars to the people walking by. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we’ve got a good group of people here who make the time go by faster. We usually finish up late and head home tired.
