S L N T Textile

Our place is right by the Erode Railway Station in Kollampalayam. You can hear the trains coming and going all day long, which is something you eventually stop noticing. S L N T Textile is focused on the daily work of moving cloth and keeping track of our stock. The warehouse space is large and can get quite stuffy during the Erode summers. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading bundles. It’s hard work, and your back definitely feels it by the end of the shift. We usually have a few people working at once, chatting while we sort through the different fabrics. Being so close to the station makes it easy for transport, but it also means the area is always crowded and a bit chaotic. We don't have any corporate offices or anything like that. Our desks are just tucked into a corner near the main door. There’s usually a layer of lint on everything, but that’s just part of the textile business. We drink a lot of tea to stay going. Sometimes we just sit on the steps and watch the people rushing to catch their trains. It’s a very practical way to spend the day. We aren't doing anything fancy, just keeping the business moving and making sure the orders are ready on time. It’s what we know how to do, and we just keep at it. The rhythm of the station is our clock.
