Powerstone

Our business, Powerstone, is located at 35-A on Hanumandarayan Street. We are right here in Gobi, which is what most of us call Gobichettipalayam, out in the Erode district. It is a nice area, a bit quieter than the big cities, and we like it that way. Our building is just a simple place on a regular street. We do not have any big signs or flashing lights. People usually find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us. We do a lot of stone-related work, and it can be pretty physical. There is dust on the shelves and the sound of heavy things being moved around is pretty common. We are a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you might be answering the phone, and the next you are helping load a truck or checking a delivery. We don't have a human resources department or a marketing manager. It is just us. We have been part of the community here for a long time and we know most of the people who walk past our door every day. Sometimes the rains in Erode can slow things down or make the yard a bit of a mess, but we just keep going. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just trying to run a decent business and provide for our families. It is a simple life and we are happy with the way things are going.
