Wiltech Software Solutions (P) Ltd. is situated at IT-Park 1, Plot 16, inside the CEPZ in Kakkanad. Being part of the export processing zone means there is a certain routine to getting in and out every day. The security at the gate is pretty strict about passes, which is just part of the deal here. The building itself is standard for the park, and we have got our own little section where we do our software work. Kakkanad gets a lot of rain, and sometimes you can hear it drumming on the roof quite loudly. We have a view of some trees and other office blocks from our windows. Inside, it is mostly just rows of computers and a lot of tangled cables under the desks that we keep meaning to organize. It is a professional environment but it isn't stiff. We talk about our weekends and complain about the commute just like everyone else. There is a small break area where we keep the snacks. We don’t have a giant corporate culture with slogans on the walls. It is more about just showing up, doing the work, and making sure the software behaves like it is supposed to. It is a decent place to be, and having other tech companies nearby makes the whole area feel like it is constantly moving and busy. Most of us just enjoy the work and the occasional office lunch.
