Web Design Cochin

Web Design Cochin is over at No. 8 Ites Habitat Centre, which is part of the Kerala It Mission near the Jni Stadium in Kaloor. It’s a busy part of town, especially when there is a match or an event at the stadium. We are in a building with a lot of other tech people. Our space is pretty simple. We have our computers, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of empty coffee mugs. We spend most of our time looking at code and moving things around on screens. It is not as glamorous as people think. Most of the time it’s just us trying to figure out why a button isn't working or why a page looks weird on a phone. The Habitat Centre is a good place to be because everything is close by. We don’t have a big sales team. Usually, if the phone rings, it’s one of the designers who picks it up. We talk to people about what they want their site to look like and then we sit down and try to build it. Some days are long, and we end up staying late while the city outside is quiet. We just like building things that work for people. There is no corporate manual here. We just work together and get the sites finished. Kaloor is a lively place, and being right by the stadium means there is always something going on outside our windows.
