Our office is on the first floor of the Nirvrithi building. It’s very close to the KSRTC bus stand on Ammankovil Road. You can hear the buses honking all day long from here. It's a small space with a few desks and some computers. We do our work here and try to keep things organized. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow so you have to be careful when you are coming up. We have been in this spot for a while now. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away. We aren't one of those big tech companies with bean bags and free snacks. It's just a regular office where we drink too much tea. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. Being near the bus stand is handy for getting to work but the traffic on Ammankovil Road is a nightmare in the evenings. We usually have lunch together at our desks while we talk about the news. It’s a quiet group of people here. We just handle the tasks as they come in. There is a small balcony but it's mostly full of old files and some spare chairs. We don't have a big sign out front so you have to look for the building name. It's just a practical place to get work done.
