You can find us near the BSNL Bhavan on Kalathiparambu Road here in Kochi. It’s a very central spot, so there’s always something happening right outside our door. We operate as a trade test centre, which means we see a lot of people coming in to prove their skills. The office is usually full of paperwork and people waiting for their turn. We don’t have much in the way of decoration; it’s mostly just functional desks and testing equipment. Kochi is a fast-paced city, and we definitely feel that energy here. We spend our days coordinating tests and checking documents. It’s hard work and it gets pretty humid in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and get through it. The staff is local, and we’ve been working together for quite some time. We aren’t interested in looking like a polished corporate office. We’d rather just be known for getting the testing done right. Kalathiparambu Road is busy, but it makes it easy for workers to find us when they need their certifications. We open up around nine and usually there is someone already waiting by the gate. It's just the way things are in this part of Kochi. We usually have a lot of tea and quick snacks while we work through the pile of applications. It’s a very real, everyday kind of place. Nothing is sugar-coated here. We just do the job.
