Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan

Our branch of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is located right on T D Road in Ernakulam. It’s a very busy part of the city, and we’ve been part of this street for many years. The building has that older style that you see around this part of Kerala, with high ceilings and heavy doors. We don’t try to be a modern, flashy school. Instead, we just stick to the way we’ve always done things, focusing on the classes and the students who come here every day. The noise from the traffic on T D Road is always there in the background, but everyone is used to it by now. Inside, the staff stays busy with the usual administrative tasks, like filing records and organizing the yearly schedule. We have a lot of history in these rooms, and you can see it in the worn-out wooden desks and the old photos on the walls. It’s a place where people come to learn without needing all the extra bells and whistles that newer schools might have. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just a school where teachers teach and students study. The staff at the front office are usually dealing with a line of people or answering the phone, but they eventually get to everyone. We like being in the heart of Ernakulam where everything is accessible for the parents. It’s a straightforward, practical institution.
