Softlogic Innovations Pvt. Ltd. is situated at 35/1544 on South Janatha Road in Palarivattom. If you know Kochi, you know how busy this area gets, especially during the morning rush. Our building is right there among the shops and other small offices. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of tables with people typing away. We focus on tech innovations, but it feels more like a workshop than a laboratory. There’s always a stack of papers near the printer and someone is usually looking for a missing charging cable. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy with projects to really bother with that. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for making tea, which is pretty much the fuel for the whole office. Palarivattom is a good spot because everything is close by, even if the rain makes the road a bit messy sometimes. We don’t wear suits or anything like that here; it’s mostly just jeans and t-shirts. The vibe is pretty relaxed, though we do get a bit stressed when deadlines come around. It’s just a group of people trying to make software work properly. We’ve been at this location for a while and the neighbors know us well by now. We just focus on the logic and the code, day in and day out, without any big corporate drama. It’s just us doing our thing.
