We operate out of Kinattingal House, which is over in Panayikulam. It’s a bit away from the main city rush of Ernakulam, which suits us just fine. Sailors It Solutions started because a few of us wanted to work together on tech projects without the long commute. The office is basically a converted part of the house, so it feels very much like home. You can hear the neighborhood noises while we work, which is actually quite nice. We handle various IT tasks, from basic troubleshooting to more complex software stuff. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of local people who know their way around a computer. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us sitting at our desks in the middle of something. We don't really have a set routine, though we try to start around the same time every morning. Sometimes the coffee runs out and we have to make a quick trip to the shop down the road. It’s a very grounded way to work. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now and have slowly filled up the room with more monitors and cables. It’s a bit cramped but we make it work. We just enjoy solving problems and seeing things actually function the way they are supposed to. We keep things pretty informal and don't worry about being perfect.
