Sahya Agronomics Llp

Sahya Agronomics is basically run out of the Kanjirapuzhayil House in Perumkutty. We are over in Poovakulam, near Muvattupuzha. It’s a family-style setup, really. We’ve been working with the land in Ernakulam for a while now. It started as a small idea to get more organized with our crops. We don’t have a big corporate board or anything like that. It’s mostly just us at the house, looking over the ledgers and seeing what needs to be planted next. The address is Viii/57A, so it’s right in the middle of where we live and work. We deal with the day-to-day stuff like getting supplies and making sure the harvest doesn't sit around too long. It gets humid here, which is great for some plants but a pain for others. We’ve had our fair share of bad seasons, but that’s just part of the deal when you work in agronomics. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do right by the land we have. It’s a lot of physical labor and late nights trying to figure out the best way to move our produce. Sometimes we lose track of time because there's always something to fix or a field to check. It’s just how life is for us here in Kerala. We keep things simple and focus on the work. It is tough but we keep going.
