We are based out of Flat No. 15C in the Grand Meadows complex in Maradu. It’s a tall building, and being up on the fifteenth floor gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding Kochi area. On some days, you can see quite a bit of the greenery, but mostly it is just the rooftops of Ernakulam. The flat isn't huge, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We’ve got a few desks pushed up against the walls and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. It feels a bit strange sometimes, working in what was supposed to be someone's home, but it works for what we do. The kitchen is our favorite spot for quick breaks, mostly because the kettle is always there. Traffic in Maradu can be a real headache, so many of us try to get in early or stay a bit later to avoid the worst of it. The elevator in Grand Meadows is usually busy, so you end up meeting neighbors while waiting. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. If the doorbell rings, someone just gets up from their desk to answer it. It’s a very straightforward setup with no frills at all. We just come in, do our bits, and then head home like everyone else in the building. It is a practical way to run things without all the corporate noise.
