If you come down to Logic Towers near Marine Drive, you’ll find us up on the fifth floor. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is busy or acting up, which happens more than you’d think in an old building. Our office is right there in St Alberts College Lane, so there’s always a lot of students around outside making the street feel very busy. From the windows on the fifth floor, you can see bits of the city, and when the weather is clear, it’s actually a decent view to look at while you work. Inside the office, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards clicking and people chatting about whatever project is on the screen that day. We have these rows of desks and a lot of wires running everywhere along the floor, which we try to keep tidy with tape, but it never quite stays that way for long. Lunchtime is when it gets lively because everyone heads out to the small food shops nearby or sits around the break area with their tiffin boxes. Being in Cochin, the humidity is something we just have to deal with, so the AC is pretty much always running. We don’t do anything flashy here. It’s just a group of people working on software, solving bugs, and trying to get through the task list. The building itself is easy to spot once you get onto the lane. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us all by name. It’s a busy spot but we like the energy.
