Our office is situated on the first floor of Kachappally Chambers, right on Mahakavi G. Road. If you are familiar with this part of town, you know it is always humming with activity. We operate as Indchem Distributors Ltd., and we have been in this spot for a good while. The space is functional but definitely not flashy. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a corner where we keep the kettle for tea. Our daily routine involves a lot of coordinating between suppliers and the people who need industrial chemicals. It is mostly logistical work, tracking where shipments are and when they will arrive. Since we are a limited company, there is always a fair amount of formal documentation to handle, which usually keeps one or two of us busy for most of the afternoon. The road outside can get very noisy with all the vehicles, but after a while, you just stop noticing it. When it rains, the area around the entrance can get a bit muddy, so we spend a lot of time mopping the floor. We don’t have a big sales team out on the road. Most of our business comes from people who have worked with us for a long time. It is a straightforward operation without any big frills. We like the neighborhood and the people around here. It feels like a real community where everyone is just trying to get their work done and then get home on time.
