Icede Foodworks Llp

Icede Foodworks is located in South Kalamassery, right at the TVS Junction. We are in the Chandrathil Tower building, on the third floor. Being near the junction means there is always traffic and noise from the buses going past. It’s a busy part of town. We deal with food processing, mostly stuff that needs to stay cold. We have a few big refrigeration units that hum all day long. It's a bit of a tight space because the machines take up a lot of room. We spend a lot of time checking temperatures and making sure the seals on the doors are tight. It’s not the most exciting work, but it has to be done right. We have a small team of four or five people. Most of us take the bus to get here. We eat our lunch together in the small break area near the window where we can watch the traffic down below. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come to see us, you’ll just see a bunch of people in coats working around crates. Sometimes the elevator in the tower breaks down and we have to carry everything up the stairs, which is no fun at all. But we just get on with it. It’s just how things go at a small place like ours. We mostly just keep our heads down and focus on the cooling fans.
