We operate out of Maithra, specifically at the Karippath Illam. It is a traditional kind of setting for a company like Fullstop App (Opc) Private Limited, but it works for what we do. It is basically a one-person operation for the most part, but there is always family and neighbors around the house. Working from Thalikkodammal is quite different than being in a big tech hub. You hear the birds outside and the occasional tractor passing by instead of sirens or city noise. The address is a bit of a mouthful for people who are not from around here, but the locals know the house well enough. I spend most of my time sitting at a desk trying to figure out why a piece of code is not doing what it should. It is not a glamorous setup with a receptionist or a coffee machine that makes fancy lattes. It is just a simple room with enough light and a decent chair that does not hurt my back too much. Sometimes it gets a bit lonely during the long hours, but then someone drops by for a chat and it breaks the day up. Building things from a place like this shows you do not need a skyscraper to get things done. I just focus on the task at hand and try to make things that people might actually use. It takes a lot of time and a lot of staring at the screen. That is pretty much the daily routine.
