The shop is located in the Vimala Building, which is right near Saritha Theatre. If you know the Market Road and Banerji Road area, it's pretty easy to spot us. It gets really loud here when a movie finishes and everyone pours out onto the street. We’ve been handling computer stuff here for a while. Mostly we deal with desktops that won't turn on or laptops that have those annoying blue screens. It’s a lot of sitting at the workbench with a screwdriver and a cup of tea that’s probably gone cold. There are cables everywhere, tangled under the desks and hanging off the walls. We keep a stock of RAM sticks and hard drives in the glass cabinets, though they get dusty pretty fast. The floor is old linoleum and it creaks a bit near the door. My brother usually handles the customers while I’m in the back trying to figure out why a motherboard is acting up. It's not a fancy place with bright lights or anything. Just a regular computer shop where we try to get things fixed. Sometimes we run out of space for all the monitors people leave for repair. We just stack them carefully in the corner. Market Road is always busy, so there’s always someone popping in to ask for a mouse or a keyboard. It’s a steady kind of life for us here in the building.
