Over at No.35/767, we have our space called Dimasys on North Janatha Road in Palarivattom. It’s a typical Kerala setting with plenty of humidity. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s a mix of workbenches and storage. We focus on the smaller stuff mostly—microsystems and chip-level things. It requires a lot of patience and a steady hand. The light on North Janatha Road is nice in the mornings. We usually start the day with a clean-up because dust settles on everything overnight. Palarivattom is a lively area. We get all sorts of people coming in, from students to elderly folks who can't get their tablets to work. We don't have a big fancy sign. Just the name on the door. There’s a constant hum of fans and the occasional beep from a motherboard. We drink a lot of black coffee. Sometimes the rain in Palarivattom is so loud we can’t hear the phones ringing. We just keep working through it. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes with all the wires, but there is a system to it. We’ve been here at this address for a good while now. Everyone in the building knows us as the computer guys. We just take each day as it comes and fix what’s broken. There's always a pile of machines waiting for attention in the corner.
