Tata Steel

We are over here at Janata Flat No-J/4/7 on Road No-11. It is right in the middle of Adityapur-2 in Jamshedpur. Most days, it is just us dealing with the usual pile of papers and phone calls that never seem to end. The flat itself is pretty basic, nothing like those big corporate offices you see in magazines. We have some old desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. Jamshedpur is a busy place, especially around here with all the industrial movement, so there is always a bit of noise coming from the street. We usually have the windows open when it is not too hot, though the dust can be a real pain to wipe off the tables every morning. Being in Jharkhand, we get used to the heat eventually. People walk by and wave, and sometimes someone pops in just to ask for directions or a bit of help. It is a local vibe, really. We are not trying to impress anyone with flashy signs or a big lobby. We just come in, do what needs to be done for the steel business, and head home when the sun starts to go down. It gets quiet in the evenings which is nice. We have lived and worked in this area long enough that the sounds of the road just feel like background music now. It is just a normal, everyday spot for us.
