Tata Steel Plant

Working near Dubri Chak, you get used to the heavy trucks and the constant movement of people. Our spot is right near Hotel Pankaj, and it’s a landmark everyone knows around here. Being part of the Tata Steel Plant team means we see a lot of activity every single day. The heat from the furnaces is something you never really forget, even when you go home at night. It’s a massive operation, but on our level, it’s just about getting the shifts done and making sure the metal is moving like it should. We spend a lot of time checking gauges and walking the floor. It can get pretty loud, and the dust is just part of the job description. We see the guys staying at Hotel Pankaj coming and going, mostly contractors or drivers. Sometimes we grab a quick meal nearby before heading back into the gates. It’s a long day, usually, and the work is physically demanding. You won't find anyone sitting around doing nothing here. We deal with raw materials and finished steel, and there is a lot of pride in seeing those big loads head out on the road. It’s not a fancy life, and it’s definitely not a quiet one, but it is steady. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to keep everything running smooth in our corner of the plant. It's just simple work for honest people.
