We've been around for a while now, mostly working out of our spot in Jamshedpur at Vatika Green City. It's on Dimna Road in Mango, right at H1-4 Pearl. Most people just know us as Hindustan Engineering Industies Ltd. People ask why West Bengal is in the name when we are here in Jharkhand, but that’s just how the registration ended up. It’s a busy office. There is always someone coming in or out with some paperwork or a question about a project. We keep things pretty simple. The desks are usually a bit cluttered with blueprints and coffee cups because we’re always in the middle of something. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything. Just a place where we get the daily work done. My uncle used to say that as long as the lights are on and the phones are ringing, we’re doing okay. Sometimes the traffic on Dimna Road gets bad, so getting to the office takes longer than it should, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just keeping the business moving and making sure the orders are handled. If you stop by, you'll see we're just regular people. We don't have a big reception desk or a guy in a suit waiting at the door. It’s just us. We deal with the heat in the summer and the rain in the monsoon just like everyone else around here.
