Shree Veerabathra Traders

Shree Veerabathra Traders is tucked away in Lower Lumparing over in Laban, Shillong. We share space near the Mita Store, which most folks in the neighborhood know. Tarkeshwar Prasad is usually around the office or out handling supplies. Trading is basically what we do every day, moving goods in and out of the 793004 area. It gets a bit crowded with stock sometimes, but we manage to find what we need eventually. Working in Shillong means dealing with the weather and the hilly roads, but we're used to it. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular place where work happens. We handle a variety of items depending on what's in demand or what our regular customers are asking for. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and checking lists to make sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk, especially on Mondays. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or marketing ourselves because word of mouth usually does the trick around here. People know where we are if they need something. We just keep the doors open and try to stay organized. It’s a small operation, really just a few of us making sure the trading business stays on track. Being part of the local community in Laban is just how we've always operated. We like the quiet mornings here before the streets get busy.
