St. Don Bosco English Medium School

We have been running St. Don Bosco English Medium School for quite a while now over here in Gandhipuram. Most people in Rajahmundry know where the Somalama Temple is, and we are located right nearby. It is a busy area, but once you step inside the school gate, things get a bit more focused on the kids. We deal with all sorts of daily stuff, from keeping the classrooms clean to making sure the students actually listen during their English lessons. It is not always easy, especially when it gets hot in the afternoons, but we manage. The building isn't brand new or anything fancy, but it serves its purpose. We have desks that have seen a lot of use and walls covered in posters the kids made. Some of the teachers have been with us for years and they know the families in the neighborhood pretty well. Parents stop by the office to talk about their children's progress or just to drop off a forgotten lunch box. We focus on the basics here. The kids spend their time reading, writing, and playing during their breaks. Sometimes the noise from the street gets in, but everyone is used to it by now. We just try to keep things moving along day by day and make sure the students are learning what they need to. It’s a local place for local families, and that’s how we’ve always kept it.
