Sri Sunanda Public School

Sri Sunanda Public School is located at 28-28-25, Asapu, on Jampet Main Road in the Jam Peta area of Rajahmundry. Being right on the main road makes us very easy to find, though the traffic can be quite a handful during the peak hours of the day. The building is a typical urban structure, squeezed in with other shops and houses, but it has enough room for all our students. We have been a part of this Rajahmundry neighborhood for many years now, and we see the same families coming back generation after generation. The school day starts early with a small assembly where everyone stands together. The rooms are a bit tight sometimes, but we manage to fit the desks and the kids in. We don't have any of those modern fancy gadgets; it is just traditional teaching with books and pens. The teachers stay quite busy moving from one floor to another between periods. During the breaks, you can hear the noise of the kids all the way down the street. We have a small area near the back where they can get some fresh air. It gets very humid here in Rajahmundry, so the ceiling fans are always humming in the background. Parents often pop in to talk about their children’s progress while they are out doing their daily shopping on Jampet Main Road. It is just a regular, local school doing its bit for the community here in the city.
