Sks Exim operates out of Mayur Vihar Phase-II, specifically in Pocket-E. If you know the area, it’s a bit quieter than some other parts of Delhi, which we like. We’ve been at 195 for a good stretch of time. Dealing with exports and imports means there’s always a lot of paperwork and phone calls at odd hours. Sometimes the office feels a bit small when we have a big shipment coming in, but we make it work. It’s a family-style environment here, even if we are a private limited company on paper. We don’t really dress up in suits unless someone important is coming by, usually just casual shirts and some comfortable shoes. Most of the day is spent checking on lists, talking to vendors, and making sure the logistics don't get messed up. It’s a lot of coordination. There’s a small tea stall nearby where we go when we need a break from the computer screens. Mayur Vihar has a specific vibe, and we feel like a part of the local community here. We don’t spend much time on fancy advertisements or anything like that. People usually find out about us through word of mouth or old contacts we’ve had for years. It’s steady work, and we just try to keep things organized so nothing gets lost in transit. Sometimes things get delayed at the port, and those are the stressful days, but usually, it’s just business as usual.
