Shree Krishna Medicos

Our shop, Shree Krishna Medicos, is at G-5 in the Chopra Complex, right near the Preet Vihar Metro Station. Being a medical store, we have a lot of different responsibilities compared to a regular grocery shop. We spend our time looking at prescriptions and finding the right bottles or strips of tablets on the shelves. The shop is full of small drawers and boxes everywhere. It is a bit of a maze if you do not work here. We stay open for long hours because you never know when someone might need something for a fever or a cough. It is a busy area with people coming and going from the metro all day. We do not really have time for fancy talk. We just focus on getting the right items to the people who come to the counter. Sometimes it is hard to read the handwriting on the notes people bring in, so we have to ask a lot of questions. We also keep basic things like bandages, soap, and some health drinks. It is a serious job, but we are just regular people doing our best in this small space. The noise from the main road is always there, but we do not mind it. We just sit behind the glass counter and wait for the next person. It is not a flashy business, just a necessary one for the people living and working around Preet Vihar.
