Sarvottam Kirana Store

You can find Sarvottam Kirana Store at Lakshmi Nagar Main Bazar F/170. This area is always crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping for dinner. Our store is right in the thick of it. We sell all the basic kirana items like rice, pulses, oils, and spices. It’s a noisy spot because of the main bazar, but we’ve grown used to the constant sound of horns and people talking. The shop at F/170 is packed with bags and containers. We spend our mornings weighing out items and packing them into smaller bags for the day’s customers. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but someone has to do it. We don't have any big signs or posters; the sacks of grain sitting out front usually tell people what we are about. We’ve seen kids grow up in this neighborhood, coming in for candy and now coming in to buy flour for their own homes. It’s that kind of place. We don't use a computer for everything; we still write things down and keep track of stuff manually mostly. It’s how we’ve always done it. If the weather is bad, the bazar slows down, but otherwise, it’s non-stop. We just keep our heads down and serve the people who walk in. It’s a busy life in Lakshmi Nagar, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
