Our office is tucked away in the Balco Apartment complex at Plot No. 58. This is in IP Extension, over in the Patparganj area of Delhi 92. Mother Dairy Fruit And Vegetable Pvt.Ltd. operates out of unit 142. It is a residential kind of area, so it doesn't feel like a cold business district. There are trees around and people walking their dogs while we are inside dealing with the logistics of produce. We spend a lot of time worrying about the timing of fruit and vegetable deliveries. Everything has to move fast because things go bad if they sit too long. The office itself is just a regular room with some desks and computers. We have stacks of reports and maps of the city routes pinned to the walls. It can get a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. Patparganj is a good spot for us because it is connected to the rest of East Delhi pretty well. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just come in, check the supply lists, and try to make sure the local booths are stocked for the morning rush. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things go wrong with the trucks, but that’s the nature of the business. We just stay focused on the work and keep the crates moving from the farms to the city.
