You can find Purkait Tools at 31 B Lakshmi Nagar, over in the J & K Block. It’s a pretty standard shop where we keep all sorts of hand tools and equipment for local tradesmen. The shelves are packed, and sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze to get through the aisles. We started this because we saw a lot of people in the neighborhood needing decent tools for their work. We aren't a big chain store, so we know most of the people who walk through the door. If someone needs a specific wrench or a hammer, we usually have it buried somewhere in the back. The lighting isn't the best in the shop, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time answering questions about which tool works for which job. It’s simple work, really. We open up early because that’s when the workers are heading to their sites. The shop doesn't look like much from the outside, just a plain storefront with some tools on display in the window. We’ve had the same counter for years and it’s seen a lot of use. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. People just come in, get what they need, and go. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the sound of the traffic outside in Lakshmi Nagar. We’re just here to provide the gear that helps people get their own work done without any extra hassle or noise.
