Prachi Advertising

Our spot is at 101 Shakarpur Madhuban Road, which stays pretty hectic most of the week. Prachi Advertising is inside the Choudhary Complex on Vikas Marg, and if you know this area, you know how the traffic gets. It is not the kind of office you see in movies with glass walls and fancy coffee. We have a few old desks and some computers that have seen better days. Most of the time, the floor is covered with scraps of paper or vinyl because we are always cutting things to size. The light in the hallway has a habit of flickering, but the landlord hasn't fixed it yet. We just focus on getting the work done for the people who walk in. It gets really warm in the afternoons when the sun hits the front windows, so we usually have a couple of fans running full blast. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long, mostly horns and people shouting. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the tea guy comes around at four. It is a simple setup, really. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have worked together for years now. Sometimes customers stay and chat for a bit too long, but we don't mind the company. It’s just how things go here in Shakarpur. We mostly just keep working until it is time to close up and go home for the night.
