Money Makers

Our office is at 184 Patparganj Industrial Area and it isn't much to look at from the outside. It is just a regular building in a row of many others in this part of Delhi. Inside, we have a lot of steel cabinets filled with folders and files that we have collected over the years. The air is a bit dry because of the old air conditioner that rattles when it is turned on. We deal with money matters and paperwork all day long which means a lot of typing and looking at spreadsheets. It is not the kind of place where you find fancy decorations or nice rugs. We have some plastic chairs for visitors and a big water cooler that leaks a little bit on the tile floor. Most of our clients are people from the nearby factories or small business owners who need help with their numbers. We try to stay on top of the rules but they seem to change every few months. The traffic in Patparganj can be really bad in the evenings so we often stay late just to avoid the rush. It is quiet work for the most part except for the sound of the printer which seems to be running constantly. We don't have a big sign outside so you have to look for the number on the gate. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in.
