Pookulam Estate

Pookulam Estate is run out of a third-floor office in Shakarpur. We are at U 58 on Street Number 4. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know the streets are narrow and always full of life. Getting up to the third floor is a bit of a climb, but it keeps us fit. The office is pretty simple. We’ve got some chairs, a few desks, and a lot of registers. We handle things related to the estate from here, mostly paperwork and talking to people on the phone. It’s not a big corporate headquarters or anything like that. It’s just where we do our daily tasks. The light in the office is actually quite good in the mornings. Sometimes the noise from the street below makes it hard to hear on the phone, so we have to close the windows. Most of the people around here are running small businesses just like us. We’ve known our neighbors for years. It’s a tight-knit spot. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything is in order. We don't use any fancy systems, just the old-fashioned way of keeping records. It’s worked for us so far and we don't plan on changing it. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It's a decent way to earn a living.
